About Us
The Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) works collaboratively with academic units to develop services designed for returning students. OASES strives to connect students to on-campus resources that enhance student success, assists in developing academic and career goals, and supports timely degree completion.
Our Services
- Provide Pre-advising Appointments to review previously completed credits/answer questions about attending Charlotte
- Connect prospective adult and readmitted students with essential campus resources
- Support development of academic plan for timely degree completion
- Collaborate with campus partners for developing services to support and encourage returning students
Mission
As a department within the Enrollment Management division, OASES assists with the enrollment goals of recruiting and retaining our adult student population. The OASES vision is to expand the educational experiences while increasing the retention and graduation rate of all undergraduate adult and returning students at UNC Charlotte.
