About: 

As an academic advisor, Mandy has advised for almost any and every major and has worked with all types of students including first time freshmen, transfer students, adult students and graduating seniors.  In addition to advising students, Mandy served as a coordinator of probationary programs, taught Career Choices and Competencies and First Year Seminar classes and has advised student groups such as the National Residence Hall Honorary at and the OSP Scholarship Program.

Mandy’s passion in higher education is working to empower others to discover their potential and find their passion; using principles of effective leadership to help shape the academic careers of her students and advisees.  Mandy is committed to each and every one of her students and works to support them to the best of her abilities.

Education: 

Mandy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication (2000) and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration (2004) both from the University of Louisville.  Mandy’s experience in higher education includes eight plus years in academic advising and four years in residence life.

Fun Fact: 

In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, traveling, yoga, photography, and considers herself to be a life-long learner who is always open to new experiences.
