Advising 

The Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) advising mission is to assist adult and nontraditional undergraduate students in developing and implementing individual plans for achieving their academic and career goals. Let us help you develop your academic plan, identify interests and career goals, choose a program of study, and select resources that support student success!

Students We Serve: Undergradute adult students 24 years of age and nontraditional students, students admitted through the Adult Student Admissions Program (ASAP), 49er Finish Program students, readmitted former students, newly admitted veterans, students transitioning between majors, and prospective students.

ADVISING INFORMATION

OASES advisors are accessible by telephone (704-687-5104), email (adultstudents@charlotte.edu), in person, or virtual (Zoom or Google Meet) appointments. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday during office hours. Please check for changes in office hours during holidays and student breaks.  

OASES Advising Hours:

Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Virtual Extended Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday | 7:30 - 8:00 am and 5:00 - 6:00 pm - please contact our office to request an appointment to be scheduled during an extended time.

 

Current students that have an advisor in OASES should schedule an appointment in Connect (please select your location as OASES Virtual Advising or OASES Barnard 106 for an in person appointment).

Prospective or newly admitted undergraduate students can an email or call OASES to schedule an advising meeting.
