Student Success Stories

Share Your Story with OASES!

The Office of Adult Students and Extended Services (OASES) is looking for students to share their story as part of our Adult Student Success Story series. We find that each story has a unique way of inspiring prospective adult students and the Charlotte community! If you are interested in sharing your educational journey, please fill out the SHARE YOUR STORY form.

Diversity - Stories of Our Nontraditional Students

At UNC Charlotte, learning comes from many different experiences, not just from the classroom. Diversity of a campus community enriches every aspect of a student’s experience and the experiences of nontraditional students enrich our campus community. You can click here to listen to nontraditional student interviews about their experiences of returning to college and their motivation to pursue their first bachelor's degree (made possible by the Chancellor's Diversity Challenge Grant), or read the stories listed below. We hope you will be inspired by the stories from these 49ers.
